Jeff Javis and Leo Laporte clued me into this method on their podcast. I'm not sure if you could use the data for statistical analysis but it's a great way to find good restaurants in unfamiliar cities.

Re: Crowdsourcing Usability – Or Not?

She is a strategic partner with Happy Cog and UX consultant

Re: Gap – Lessons in a Logo Makeover Fail

Daniel, Thanks for sharing. As you may or may not have observed with the 99 Designs competition, several of he designers were no shy about "borrowing" aspects of favored logo submissions to gain advantage. While I note that you have place a copyright notice on your treatment, the specific legality around what your copyright entails and to what degree your concept may be altered to the point of no longer infringing upon it is questionable.

I have had people completely steal assets off our website to pass them as their own - even watermark them as if they were original art from their own origin. See: http://limina-ao.com/blog/2...

I would also like to direct you to Mike's post: "Gap, I have your new logo." (above) from Off The Hoof. The truth is - in the interest of preserving the dignity of the design community - this service should be provided for the appropriate level of compensation - unless your concept was produced as an academic exercise.

I welcome your thoughts.

-Jon

Re: Gap – Lessons in a Logo Makeover Fail

My version of the GAP logo:

http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: Cloud Racing and Vapor Ware

Thanks for reading Surge.
